Operations & Client Services Officer

About the role

Alexforbes Botswana is looking for a highly organised and client‑focused Operations & Client Services Officer to ensure smooth delivery of operational and client‑service activities. The role acts as the first line of escalation for operational issues and supports compliance, risk management, and team supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to guarantee efficient service delivery and accurate transaction processing.
• Monitor turnaround times, service level agreements (SLAs), and identify process inefficiencies for improvement.
• Maintain high‑quality client interactions, resolve queries, and escalate complex or high‑risk matters.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to align service expectations and communicate performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and support internal audits.
• Supervise day‑to‑day activities of operations and client‑services staff, offering coaching, training, and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years experience in financial services operations or client services.
• 2–3 years experience in a supervisory or senior officer role.
