Relationship Manager – SME

About the role

The Relationship Manager – SME will provide dedicated relationship management to a portfolio of small‑and‑medium enterprise (SME) banking customers. The role is primarily office‑based, with most interactions conducted remotely and occasional on‑site visits for exceptional cases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a larger portfolio of SME clients, delivering professional, responsive, and high‑quality service.
• Promote and sell a range of bank products and solutions that meet the financial needs of SMEs.
• Conduct needs analysis, explain credit loan options, and support customers through the end‑to‑end credit application process.
• Provide a central service point for SME customers, ensuring quality, efficiency, and strong client engagement.
• Identify servicing opportunities, exceed service standards, and resolve non‑routine queries and complaints.
• Collaborate with specialist teams such as Trade and Credit to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Required profile

• Ability to operate under pressure while maintaining a professional and helpful approach.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a sales focus.
• Comfortable delivering services primarily from an office environment and handling remote interactions.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and needs analysis.
