Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a senior expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on developing space and geospatial markets, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and facilitating investment readiness across African and European ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and develop strategies for space and geospatial sectors.
• Design and implement innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Support commercialization pathways and improve access to finance for space‑related ventures.
• Provide investment advisory and readiness services to startups and established firms.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange and policy dialogue between African and EU stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory in technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically in space or geospatial markets.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
• Familiarity with African space markets and investment ecosystems is a plus.
