Salesperson – Retail Sales & Customer Service

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, result‑driven Salesperson to join our retail team. The role focuses on selling products, delivering excellent customer service, and building lasting relationships with shoppers. You will work towards achieving sales targets while contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sales activities to generate revenue and meet or exceed sales budgets.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Maintain accurate cash and credit transaction processes in line with company policy.
• Attract and retain customers through effective merchandising and a customer‑centric approach.
• Ensure compliance with business policies, procedures, and retail standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Grade 12 education (or equivalent).
• Strong teamwork orientation and self‑motivation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and initiative.

Required skills

• Basic retail knowledge.
• Extensive product knowledge across all categories.
• Customer‑service orientation.
• Understanding of sales and prospecting processes.
