Summer Camp Staff & Counselors – Multiple Positions

About the role

Join the MAC Summer Camp team for an unforgettable summer working with youth ranging from Tiger Cubs to Eagle Scouts. The program offers a variety of positions across outdoor skills, health, equestrian, STEM, aquatics, kitchen, and more, allowing you to teach, mentor, and create lasting memories.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor campers in assigned activity areas.
• Teach outdoor and specialized skills such as scouting, equestrian handling, STEM projects, and water safety.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of all participants, responding to emergencies when needed.
• Assist with daily camp operations, including meal service, equipment maintenance, and logistical support.
• Collaborate with other staff members to deliver a cohesive camp experience.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 14 by June 1 (specific roles may require 18 + or 21 +).
• Availability for the mandatory training week (June 6‑11) and at least two additional camp sessions.
• Ability to work outdoors in a team‑oriented environment.
• Commitment to the camp’s schedule, including the summer session from June 13 to July 25 (excluding July 4‑10).

Required skills

• First Aid certification (for medical and safety‑related roles).
• Lifeguard certification (for aquatics positions).
• Equestrian handling experience (for wrangler and horse‑related duties).
• Basic knowledge of scouting merit badges and outdoor education.
