Technical Sales Representative

About the role

Saint‑Gobain is looking for a results‑driven Technical Sales Representative to accelerate sales growth, increase product specification, and expand market adoption of our construction solutions. You will act as the technical bridge between our product portfolio and key stakeholders such as consultants, contractors, developers, and architects, ensuring that our solutions are correctly specified and delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to specification and project sales teams, including interpretation of complex drawings and specifications.
• Accompany sales personnel on consultant or contractor visits, delivering educational seminars and technical training.
• Maintain and update a database of project clients, pipeline deals, and weekly/monthly reports.
• Generate sales revenue through mix improvement, range expansion, and new business prospecting within the assigned territory.
• Identify, qualify, and develop sales proposals for potential customers, negotiating prices, credit terms, and contract details.
• Collaborate with product and project managers to uncover opportunities for new products or markets.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building skills with architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, developers, and government bodies.
• Consultative approach with the ability to influence project specifications and secure contracts.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proactive attitude toward up‑skilling internal sales teams and industry players.
