Technician – Maintenance Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technician to support the maintenance and optimisation of our technical systems. The role will involve improving productivity by ensuring IT hardware, software and networking components operate efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair IT hardware components across the organisation.
• Perform software installations and updates on company devices.
• Assist with networking system setup and troubleshooting where required.
• Support internal and external users by diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance system efficiency and productivity.

Required profile

• Matriculation certificate.
• CompTIA A+ certification (Essentials and Core).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage stress, resolve conflicts and work towards targets.
• Customer‑centric attitude with high integrity and attention to detail.

Required skills

• CompTIA A+ (or equivalent) certification.
• IT hardware repair and troubleshooting.
• Software installation and configuration.
• Fundamental networking knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
