Commercial Manager – Fuel & Lubricants Sales

About the role

The Commercial Manager will lead a team of Account Managers to execute the company’s fuels and lubricants sales strategy. This senior position is responsible for driving B2B revenue growth, managing key industrial accounts, and ensuring operational excellence across the commercial function.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales volume, margin, cost and working‑capital targets in line with the approved plan.
• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within mining, construction and other industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts, both domestically and across borders.
• Lead, coach and motivate the commercial team, ensuring the right competencies are in place for current and future needs.
• Oversee the customer service centre operations and ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Implement channel management and local marketing initiatives as defined in the marketing plan.
• Ensure health and safety performance and provide technical support to customers.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Proven experience as a Sales Team Leader with a strong B2B track record.
• Demonstrated bottom‑line accountability and ability to negotiate with major clients.
• Experience managing cross‑border commercial activities.
• Strong customer relationship management and leadership capabilities in an international environment.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of industrial fuel and lubricants for mining and construction sectors.
