Customer-Focused Booth Teller

About the role

Mukuru is seeking a customer‑focused Booth Teller to represent the brand at its branches and booths. You will ensure every client enjoys a smooth, secure transaction experience while upholding the company’s high standards of service and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process remittance collections and send transactions accurately.
• Conduct KYC verification and compliance checks.
• Handle cash transactions, balance daily floats, and maintain secure cash/device practices.
• Monitor transaction limits and report suspicious activities.
• Assist customers with required compliance documentation.
• Promote Mukuru products and services.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service daily.
• Keep the booth and workspace safe, secure, and presentable.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / High School Certificate; higher certificate or post‑secondary qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a financial‑services environment.
• Knowledge of foreign currency transactions.
• Understanding of KYC/FICA regulations.
• Strong numeracy and cash‑handling abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong customer‑relationship and administrative skills.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
