Electrical Foreman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of commercial and industrial electrical systems. You will coordinate crews, ensure compliance with specifications, and maintain safety and quality standards on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and related equipment.
• Direct the work of helpers, electricians, leadmen, and area foremen assigned to the project.
• Plan and lay out work in advance according to schedules, plans, and specifications.
• Create short‑term (look‑ahead) schedules and pre‑task plans.
• Maintain required project files, forms, and documentation.
• Track and submit daily timesheets for each project.
• Attend job meetings and coordinate with other trades and owner representatives.
• Evaluate the abilities and work ethic of subordinates.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read and write English effectively.
• Local Journeyman Card or NEC State License preferred (not mandatory).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Proficiency with hand tools, electric/battery‑operated tools, and manual tools such as conduit benders and knockout cutters.
• Strong knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to read blueprints and specifications.
