English Teacher (Forms 1‑3, IGCSE & A‑Level)

About the role

Maru-a-Pula School is seeking an experienced English Teacher to join its faculty starting in January 2027. The successful candidate will deliver curriculum for Forms 1‑3, IGCSE and A‑Level students, fostering strong language skills and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Forms 1‑3, IGCSE and A‑Level.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for examinations and support their academic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive curriculum.
• Uphold the school’s child‑protection policies and complete required background checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum of five years teaching experience, preferably with IGCSE and A‑Level programmes.
• Ability to teach Forms 1‑3, IGCSE and A‑Level English.
• Willingness to undergo criminal record clearance and background verification.
