Senior Client Operations Analyst

About the role

The Senior Client Operations Analyst will work closely with the strategic client relationship team to service a designated portfolio of investment‑management clients. This position acts as the first escalation point for complex queries, ensures high‑quality service delivery, and supports operational efficiency across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for risk‑related decisions and coach team members on query resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client contacts, providing timely updates and answers.
• Coordinate, produce, and verify regulatory reporting within set deadlines.
• Resolve custodian queries collaboratively and manage cash contribution/withdrawal instructions.
• Monitor mandates and breaches, including overdraft investigations.
• Assist with stakeholder management to ensure smooth trade settlement.
• Support onboarding managers during new client implementations and restructures.
• Identify training needs and facilitate learning across the regional operational environment.
• Liaise with internal teams (Investment Operations, Portfolio Managers, Client Directors) and external service providers.
• Align operational processes between back‑office administrators, custodians, and third‑party providers, and implement process improvements.
• Maintain the CRM system accurately and promptly.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in client operations or servicing within the investment‑management industry.
• Proven ability to manage escalations, assess risk, and make sound judgments.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on meeting regulatory and operational deadlines.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
