Senior IT Audit Manager – Gaborone

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Information Technology Audit Manager to join our Gaborone office. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will lead IT audit engagements, assess technology risks and ensure that client systems and controls meet regulatory and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive IT audit programs for diverse clients.
• Identify, evaluate and report on IT risks, control gaps and cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve processes, controls and overall risk posture.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, cyber‑threat trends and relevant regulatory changes.
• Lead, mentor and manage audit teams throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal risk‑management initiatives to enhance organizational resilience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of overall audit experience, including at least 3 years in IT audit management.
• Proven expertise in IT risk management, IT audit and control frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership and team‑management skills.
