Data Analyst (Supply Chain)

About the role

Palladium is looking for a Data Analyst specializing in supply chain to support Botswana’s public health logistics. The role will turn data from multiple systems into actionable insights that improve forecasting, inventory management and overall commodity security.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate and analyse supply chain data from eLMIS, ERP, DHIS2, warehouse management systems and other sources.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports and visualisations to monitor key performance indicators.
• Analyse consumption trends, stock status, inventory levels, procurement and distribution data.
• Produce analytical reports to support forecasting, supply planning and decision‑making.
• Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements to information systems.
• Support quantification, inventory optimisation and pipeline monitoring through data analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the use of analytics for supply chain planning and performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Health Informatics, Public Health, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or supply chain analytics.
• Experience with public health supply chains and donor‑funded programmes is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation and report‑writing abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
• SQL knowledge for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with eLMIS, DHIS2, ERP, QAT or warehouse management systems.
