Pharmacist / Pharmacy Technician

About the role

Atlega Pharmacy, part of Atlega Health Center in Gaborone, is seeking a qualified pharmacist or pharmacy technician to join its team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective medication services to patients while maintaining high standards of pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medication to patients accurately and efficiently.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Manage pharmacy stock, including ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
• Maintain comprehensive records of prescriptions, dispensing activities, and stock movements.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and professional standards.

Required profile

• Relevant pharmacy qualification.
• BHPC registration or eligibility where applicable.
• Experience in dispensing and stock management is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
