Branch Manager – Mining Solutions

About the role

The Branch Manager will report to the Territory Manager and be based in Maun, Botswana. This role oversees regional operations, drives profitability, grows sales, and manages customer relationships for Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales accounts, develop area business plans, and resolve account issues.
• Achieve regional sales targets, forecast demand, and control expenditure within budget.
• Maintain and grow existing market relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely product delivery.
• Prepare regional budgets, monitor audit processes, and control store/warehouse operations.
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate sub‑ordinates, implementing talent and succession plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering; formal qualification in business, mining or engineering.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
• Valid driver’s licence and physical fitness for mining environments.
• Proven business development and sales track record with strong customer focus.
