Country Lead – Procurement

About the role

The Country Lead – Procurement will head the procurement function for Coca‑Cola Beverages Botswana. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships and ensuring cost‑effective purchasing while complying with global policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the country’s procurement team and define strategic sourcing plans.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to Coca‑Cola’s global procurement standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and other business units to align procurement with overall business objectives.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for value improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading procurement functions, preferably in a consumer goods environment.
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of compliance and risk management in procurement.
