Expert Detailing Representative – Botswana

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Expert Detailing Representative to drive awareness and adoption of consumer healthcare brands among healthcare providers in Botswana. The role combines face‑to‑face and digital engagement to support HCP education and product uptake.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct expert detailing sessions with HCPs, presenting clinical data and therapeutic benefits.
• Recruit HCPs to digital platforms and support remote engagement initiatives.
• Utilise multiple channels – in‑person, remote, email, webinars – to maintain meaningful relationships.
• Guide HCPs in accessing patient communication tools and digital resources.
• Distribute medical samples to support patient trials and product conversion.
• Track and achieve KPIs such as AWR, BRMO, and SoR while meeting territory sales targets.
• Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related healthcare role.
• BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and KPIs.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle; legal right to work in Botswana.
