About the role

LEBANNA HERITAGE is seeking a passionate part‑time dancer to join its artistic team in the South‑East District of Botswana. The role involves rehearsing and performing a variety of choreographed pieces for cultural events, stage productions, and community programs.

Key responsibilities

• Attend regular rehearsals and learn new choreography for both traditional and contemporary pieces.
• Perform at cultural festivals, theater productions, and community outreach events.
• Collaborate with choreographers, musicians, and fellow performers to ensure seamless productions.
• Participate in costume fittings, music run‑throughs, and occasional workshops.
• Maintain high physical fitness, punctuality, and reliability throughout the engagement.

Required profile

• Strong practical skills in traditional and contemporary dance.
• Experience with learning, interpreting, and collaborating on choreography.
• Foundational understanding of music and rhythm to synchronize movement.
• Demonstrated stamina, body awareness, and professional stage presence.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event‑based schedules.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and an inclusive attitude.
• Prior performance experience in cultural, theater, or dance settings is an advantage; formal training or certification is beneficial.
