Finance Business Partner – Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Finance Business Partner to join Bridgestone’s finance team in Gaborone. The role combines accounting expertise with strategic financial partnership, supporting business units to achieve their financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of best financial practices.
• Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting and the preparation of the operating budget.
• Manage and achieve financial targets and objectives.
• Provide financial analysis to business‑unit management.
• Support the financial decision‑making and budget process.
• Prepare management reports and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
• Maintain accurate stock counts and strong internal controls across all branches.
• Prepare month‑end journals, reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance.
• Proficiency in MS Office with a focus on MS Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical, multitasking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
