Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage supervisor oversees the daily operations of the F&B department, ensuring excellent guest service, efficient service delivery, compliance with hotel policies and procedures, and achievement of departmental revenue and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the food and beverage team during assigned shifts
• Ensure smooth operation of restaurants, bars, room service, banqueting and other F&B outlets
• Monitor service standards and ensure guests receive prompt, professional and courteous service
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily operational requirements
• Ensure opening, operating and closing procedures are completed correctly
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and resolve issues professionally
• Allocate duties and monitor team member productivity throughout shifts
• Train new team members on service standards, company policies and operational procedures
• Assist with ordering, receiving and storing food and beverage products
• Reduce wastage through effective stock control and portion management
• Record sales and inventory transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health regulations
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly

Required profile

• O'level certificate
• Certificate or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management or a related field is advantageous
• 2-3 years' experience in a Food & Beverage operation
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role preferred
• Experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort or hospitality environment
