Spa & Wellness Manager – Luxury Safari Camp

About the role

A permanent, fully camp-based Spa & Wellness Manager is sought to lead the wellness offering at a flagship luxury safari camp in the Delta of Botswana. The role reports to the General Manager and sits at a dotted line to the Group Wellness Coordinator. It is not a traditional spa management position: the main aim is to create a holistic wellness experience that fits into the guest journey, covering nature immersion, movement, recovery, nutrition, mindfulness and personal wellbeing. The salary is DOE per month.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the spa operation and lead the wellness team, inspiring and developing staff while holding therapists accountable for performance, standards and guest experience.
• Create and deliver wellness experiences unique to the camp, such as nature immersion, silent game drives, restorative rituals and personalised wellbeing journeys, in partnership with culinary and guiding teams.
• Drive operational excellence: keep the wellness space clean, organised and well maintained, manage maintenance issues and present a culture of accountability.
• Deliver treatments personally to the luxury standard and adopt the company's Way Sequence and guest experience standards.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in wellness or luxury hospitality.
• Background in luxury wellness resorts, destination spas, wellness retreats, integrated luxury hospitality brands, luxury safari lodges or high-end resort wellness operations.
• Experience developing new wellness programmes and experiences, and proven success leading and developing teams.
• Strong commercial and operational capability, with confidence working independently in a remote environment.
• Open to training and adoption of the company's Way Sequence and guest experience standards.
