Lodge Manager (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Belmond Safaris is seeking a dedicated Lodge Manager on a fixed‑term basis to oversee the daily operations of a luxury safari lodge. You will lead a diverse team, ensure the highest standards of hospitality, and create memorable experiences for guests in a unique wilderness setting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise room allocations, check‑in/check‑out processes, and fulfil special guest requests.
• Uphold Belmond and LQA standards across all lodge areas.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain food quality and service during each meal period.
• Host guests at meals when required.
• Manage stock rotation and monitor expiry dates to optimise inventory levels.
• Accurately complete guest reports, dockets and correspondence.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training, address performance gaps and act on guest feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial or comparable role within hospitality.
• Strong English communication skills.
