Maintenance Manager – Hospitality Facilities

About the role

Dream Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities across two of its properties in Botswana. The role ensures that buildings, equipment, utilities and infrastructure meet the highest operational and safety standards, supporting an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute maintenance operations for both properties.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for buildings, equipment and infrastructure.
• Maintain efficient operation of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and general maintenance systems.
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Manage maintenance budgets, stock levels and procurement of materials.
• Supervise contractors and ensure work meets company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety risks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and statutory regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs and compliance documentation.
• Travel regularly between the two properties to oversee activities and team performance.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or trade certification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related technical field.
• 2‑4 years’ experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in hospitality or facilities management.
• Experience managing preventative maintenance programmes and supervising teams.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between properties.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
