Operational Fuel Depot Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Fuel Depot Manager to lead our fuel depot in Gaborone. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations, maintaining stock accuracy, and driving profitability while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily depot activities, including fuel dispensing and cash handling.
• Manage fuel stock control, inventory reconciliation, and loss prevention measures.
• Lead and evaluate depot staff performance, ensuring high service quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in fuel depot, petroleum, or fuel retail operations.
• Proven track record managing high‑volume fuel operations.
• Strong leadership and financial‑control capabilities.
• Deep understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
