Relief Professional Guide

About the role

Belmond Safaris is seeking a Relief Professional Guide to rotate between two lodges in the Delta and Chobe regions. You will deliver high‑quality guiding services, create memorable safari experiences, and support conservation and community initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily game drives and walks, providing informative and engaging safari experiences.
• Coordinate and deliver all safari‑related activities.
• Participate in conservation and community programmes.
• Host guests during pre‑dinner drinks, meals, and special events.
• Assist with guest and staff transfers and ensure smooth communication with lodge management.
• Gather and relay guest feedback to enhance the overall experience.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional guiding experience.
• Holder of a Professional Guide Licence; rifle training and walking/water safari certifications are preferred.
• Passion for the Delta landscape and Chobe National Park.
• Valid driving licence and ability to diagnose minor vehicle faults.
• Strong storytelling and communication abilities.
