Space Applications Expert, Satellite Navigation & Connectivity

About the role

NTU International is seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The role focuses on satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems, satellite connectivity and the promotion of space‑based applications across Africa, contributing to policy dialogue, knowledge exchange and private‑sector engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Support activities related to satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems such as SBAS.
• Facilitate the development and uptake of satellite‑based connectivity and broadband applications in African aviation, maritime and other sectors.
• Collaborate with African and EU stakeholders to promote private‑sector engagement in space technologies.
• Provide technical expertise for the integration of African navigation and augmentation initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, aeronautics, geomatics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in satellite navigation, telecommunications or satellite connectivity, with at least 4 years on GNSS‑related projects.
