About the role
The Academic Programs and Accreditation Officer supports the Faculty of Engineering by managing projects and providing expert guidance on course and program revisions, accreditation, and continuous quality improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑level guidance and administrative support to all undergraduate engineering programs for course and program revisions, catalogue publication, accreditation and quality improvement.
- Act as liaison and advisor to departmental academic and accreditation committees, ensuring alignment with SCTP, APC/TAP and MEES requirements.
- Oversee the organization of accreditation processes, including planning visits, coordinating annual activities, and guiding units through applications and site visits.
- Collect, analyse and report data to drive continuous educational quality improvement.
- Review program and accreditation proposals and dossiers before submission to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of accreditation procedures and policies.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in project management and support for engineering academic programs.
- Familiarity with accreditation standards, cyclical program reviews, and curriculum design processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic committees and external accreditation bodies.
