About the role

We are seeking a UK‑qualified Financial Advisor to join our partner firm in Gaborone, Botswana. This expatriate position focuses on delivering tailored financial solutions to an international client base, covering cross‑border planning, investment management and wealth preservation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial advisory services covering investments, pensions, and wealth planning.
• Develop trusted client relationships through proactive communication and high‑quality service.
• Undertake detailed fact‑finding sessions to understand clients’ financial circumstances and objectives.
• Construct tailored financial plans that address both short‑term needs and long‑term goals.
• Offer expert advice on cross‑border tax planning, international investments, and wealth structuring.
• Guide clients through UK pension transfer options, QROPS, and expatriate financial planning.
• Operate within all regulatory requirements and maintain meticulous compliance records.

Required profile

• Hold a recognised UK financial planning qualification (DipPFS, CISI Level 4, CFP or similar).
• Proven track record of 2‑3 years in a client‑facing advisory capacity.
• Deep knowledge of investment markets, pension legislation, and wealth management.
• First‑class communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience advising international or expatriate clients is advantageous.
• Commitment to maintaining high professional standards and regulatory compliance.
