Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

The specialist will support the systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion considerations across all activities of the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme, ensuring inclusive participation and gender‑responsive implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion perspectives into programme design, implementation and monitoring.
• Conduct gender analysis, develop sex‑disaggregated indicators and facilitate inclusive stakeholder participation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation, with at least 4 years designing gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes.

Required skills

• Expertise in gender analysis, sex‑disaggregated indicators and gender‑responsive communication.
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy and experience working in Africa (asset).
