About the role

The Head of Corporate & Investment Banking in Botswana will adopt and nuance the Regional CIB strategy across a cluster of countries, ensuring the franchise maintains its market positioning. The role focuses on delivering a superior client experience through fit‑for‑purpose solutions in targeted sectors, working closely with regional and Group stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and adapt the Regional CIB strategy to maintain franchise positioning and competitiveness.
• Lead a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial, multi‑functional team to drive market relevance and positioning.
• Collaborate with regional and Group stakeholders to design and deliver sector‑specific solutions.
• Ensure client‑centric initiatives are executed across multiple jurisdictions.
• Govern business activities in line with fiduciary duties and board expectations.

Required profile

• Post‑Graduate Diploma in Business/Commerce.
• 3‑7 years of experience in business management, business support, and integrating technology and data insights.
• Proven track record of anticipating macro‑economic trends and applying them across jurisdictions.
• Experience leading multi‑year business change initiatives across diverse stakeholders and countries.
• Demonstrated ability to steer client‑centricity initiatives and collaborate across jurisdictions.
