Network Engineer – Enterprise Networking

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join Tangent Connect’s team in Maun, Botswana. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise‑grade networks using Cisco, Meraki and Huawei technologies, ensuring high availability and performance for critical business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot Cisco, Meraki and Huawei routing and switching platforms.
• Implement and manage network security solutions, including VPNs and firewalls.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of network incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Optimize network performance and capacity to meet evolving business needs.
• Document network designs, configurations and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, network security and VPN technologies.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.

• Cisco networking (CCNP, CCIE level)
