Security Officer (150 positions) – Nationwide

About the role

G4S Botswana is recruiting 150 Security Officers to work across its sites in Gaborone, Francistown, Jwaneng, Kasane, Lobatse, Maun, Palapye, Mahalapye and Selibe Phikwe. Officers will help maintain a safe environment for staff, visitors and assets while representing the company’s commitment to professionalism and diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and perimeters on a random or scheduled basis.
• Monitor and control access at entrances and vehicle gates.
• Observe, investigate and report signs of crime, disorder or any unusual occurrences.
• Apprehend criminals, evict violators and act lawfully in defence of life or property.
• Maintain accurate incident notes and detailed reports.
• Provide first aid or CPR when required.

Required profile

• Minimum BGCSE/Cambridge qualification or a certificate in security management.
• No criminal record and physically & mentally fit.
• Fluent in English and Setswana.
• Integrity, self‑discipline and the ability to work under pressure.
• Customer‑centric attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• First aid certification.
• CPR certification.
