About the role
Conservation International is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support for its Botswana office and field sites. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the role ensures smooth daily operations, manages office resources, and assists the Country Director with scheduling and travel arrangements.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, answer phone inquiries, and handle correspondence professionally.
- Maintain office supplies inventory, coordinate with vendors, and support procurement activities.
- Organise meetings, set up equipment, distribute memos, and manage travel logistics for staff.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of files and filing systems.
- Provide logistical support for site locations, including equipment inspection, cleaning, and supply ordering.
- Assist with the planning and execution of project meetings, workshops, and events.
- Drive staff and visitors as needed, arranging alternative transportation when required.
Required profile
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexibility to travel to off‑site locations and accompany staff on field trips.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
Required skills
- Proficiency in operating office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and copiers.
