Road Estimator – Civil Engineering Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Road Estimator to join our civil engineering team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, technically compliant, and commercially competitive tenders for road construction and related civil infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender documentation and conduct detailed quantity take‑offs for roadworks, earthworks, asphalt paving, layer works and stormwater systems.
• Assess construction methodologies and compile comprehensive project pricing aligned with profitability targets.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to gather technical and commercial inputs.
• Identify project risks and opportunities while ensuring compliance with client specifications and tender requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in road and civil infrastructure estimation.
• Strong understanding of earthworks, asphalt paving, layer works and stormwater system design.
• Ability to interpret tender documents and perform accurate quantity take‑offs.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on commercial competitiveness.
