About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Gaborone. This full‑time hybrid position involves installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, with some tasks performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out fitting processes to ensure proper assembly.
• Ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Proficiency in machining and fitting processes and techniques.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and general maintenance practices.
• Skilled in handling and repairing machinery.
• Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in similar roles within manufacturing or industrial sectors (advantageous).
