Independent Sales Representative (Remote)

This is a remote, contract role for an Independent Sales Representative.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads, and build and maintain client relationships.
• Present the company's offerings to potential customers.
• Conduct virtual meetings or calls to understand client needs, explain the value of the services and negotiate terms to close deals.
• Carry out outreach by phone, email and social platforms, track pipeline activities and report on sales performance.
• Collaborate with internal contacts as needed while managing your own schedule, sales strategy and territory to meet or exceed agreed-upon targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or customer acquisition, preferably in a remote or independent capacity.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, able to manage time, priorities and follow-up without close supervision.
• Previous experience in performance coaching, consulting or personal development is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with solid negotiation, closing and objection-handling abilities.
• Comfort with digital tools such as CRM systems, video conferencing, email and social media.
• Ability to analyse basic sales metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.
