Audit Trainee (Entry Level)

About the role

Deloitte Botswana is recruiting high-calibre, self-motivated professionals for its Audit department. The role is an entry-level trainee position in the Audit & Assurance practice, based in Gaborone.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out complete audit procedures in line with the firm's methodology
• Select items for audit testing
• Test the rationale of transactions
• Verify existence and ownership
• Take part in stock counts
• Cast and check information prepared by the client entity
• Gain an understanding of different industries and business processes at clients

Required profile

• ACCA or BICA affiliate status
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational, analytical and numeracy skills
