Salesperson – Retail (Customer‑focused)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, result‑driven Salesperson to join our retail team. The successful candidate will sell products, ensure customer satisfaction, and build lasting relationships that support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate income and maximise profit through excellent customer service.
• Perform daily sales activities to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Attract and retain customers through effective merchandising.
• Process cash and credit transactions in line with company policy.
• Engage with customers in a customer‑centric manner, identifying needs and recommending suitable products.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months sales experience, preferably in retail.
• Grade 12 education (or equivalent).
• Strong teamwork, self‑motivation and drive.
• Customer‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, initiative and resilience.
• Basic knowledge of retail policies, procedures and product categories.
